Gina Solomon, MD, MPH is Co-Director of the UCSF OEM Residency and Fellowship Program. She is an Associate Clinical Professor of Medicine at UCSF and the Associate Director of the UCSF Pediatric Environmental Health Specialty Unit (PEHSU). Dr. Solomon is Board-certified in Occupational and Environmental Medicine and Internal Medicine. She attended medical school at Yale University and did her OEM fellowship training at Harvard. She is also a Senior Scientist at the Natural Resources Defense Council (NRDC), an international nongovernmental environmental and public health advocacy organization. Her research interests include the health effects of climate change, and community exposures to air pollution and other environmental hazards. Dr. Solomon also serves on several scientific advisory committees to the U.S. EPA, Cal/EPA, and the California Department of Public Health.
