Fragrances and Work-Related Asthma

Fragranced products are used in many California workplaces and have been associated with over 300 cases of work-related asthma. A new analysis of fragrances and work-related asthma found that perfume was the ninth most common exposure reported by all work-related asthma cases tracked by the California Department of Public Health’s Work-Related Asthma Prevention Program (WRAPP). Singleton_BriannaIt is a pleasure to  announce that Brianna Singleton has been selected to receive a $10,000 Jayne M. Perkins Memorial award from Jayne M. Perkins Foundation, for the 2017-18 academic year. This is a highly competitive award.  Singleton is one of the  first  students of the UC San Francisco School of Nursing to receive this award. Congratulations!
