All members, partners, and sponsors will receive an annual report, monthly newsletters, research to community highlights, and invitations to annual symposiums and conferences that provide networking and educational opportunities.

Affiliate Member | An individual from one of our partners including an academic program, labor organization, government, company, or industry organization that has specific interactions with COEH either through facilitating collaborations with the partner organizations, or co-mentoring of students or trainees, collaboration on research or outreach projects, or supporting connections and collaborations beyond COEH within the University, with other Universities, government, labor organizations, industry, or community organizations. |
General Member | Any individual who would like to be a part of COEH whether to receive news about its current trainees, research, and community collaborations, or a participant in various symposiums, webinars, and classes, or participate in networking and alumnae events, being a general member facilitates engagement with COEH and its partners and affiliates. Alumni are a subset of general members who were once trainees. |
Core Member | All members who have a significant role in the education of trainees and who have documented qualifications to instruct, mentor, and supervise. Core COEH members mentor, educate and administer research, outreach and training related to COEH. Members may include faculty, lab managers/senior personnel, clinicians, practitioners, or other professionals with specific roles relative to the Center and its programs. |
Emeritus Members | Core members that have retired from their primary roles and responsibilities related to COEH who are still engaged with COEH as they wish. |
Advisory Board Member | All members who are on an advisory board related to COEH and its programs are collectively on the Advisory Board. This includes members of our external advisory board and program advisory committees. |
Trainee | Any student or medical resident matriculated in a degree program or residency related to COEH who collaborates with its core members. An ERC Trainee is a subset of trainees who are part of one of the 6 academic NIOSH ERC Occupational Health Training programs. A NIOSH Funded ERC Traineeis any ERC Trainee that is a recipient of NIOSH ERC Trainee funding. |
Partners | Research centers, companies, non-profit organizations, community organizations, companies, and labor organizations that collaborate with or provide in-kind support to COEH and its constituents. Examples include organizations that provide internships or clinical rotations for its trainees. Other examples include centers that provide additional educational and funding opportunities to our trainees and/or faculty or organizations that facilitate research to practice engagements or outreach to our community. |
