Project Information

Primary Areas of Work: 

We support employees in raising occupational safety and health (OSH) awareness and developing OSH programs and committees within the workplace. Our primary focus is on collaborating with workers in the manufacturing sector, particularly in the electronics, chemicals, and high-risk industries.

Goals of Project: 

This summer 2025 OHS project aims to assess the health and safety conditions of workers in the electronics sector across two different types of workplaces: organized (Cavite/Laguna) and unorganized (Batangas). During the internship, surveys, interviews, and group discussions will be conducted.

As an intern, you will: 

  • Conduct a comparative study.
  • Investigate the health and safety of working conditions between organized and unorganized workplaces.

Intern Expectations: 

The COEH intern is expected to take part in data gathering through surveys, interviews, and discussions. They can participate as enumerators or facilitators of discussions regarding OHS among the workers.

Necessary Skills: 

  1. Research experience 
  2. Data-gathering skills

Recommended Skills: 

  1. Knowledge of writing and designing simple presentations and information materials on OSH
